Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Molly began her professional stage career at the age of 13 in the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. The following year she was cast as Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for the Barrymore Award. It was recast when Molly was able to make her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. The show won her a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly was also a part of the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. The year 2008 was the time she earned her B.A. from Princeton University. In 2008, she graduated with the degree of B.A. When she was in the college, she began her acting career as a character in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly has worked on TV shows, such as Royal Pains, and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in a variety of regional plays, among them The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee produced by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 as well as the North Shore Music Theatre's The Diary of Anne Frank in 2010. The Diary of Anne Frank at Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly was Anne. Molly's most notable role is in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) where she plays Ali the 17-year-old daughter. Molly also appeared in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written by and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
